Phillip Lý is an interdisciplinary artist and zine-maker from Mississauga, Ontario, currently living and working in Toronto. Their work has previously dealt with themes of domesticity, sentimentality, and the genre of magical realism. They are currently exploring the acts of sharing and over-sharing on digital platforms, the increasingly blurred lines between private life, public life, and artistic practice, and interrogating why they can never shut up. Their practice is primarily photo based, but they have recently begun working with performance and video. They are allegedly a photography student at OCAD U, but that cannot be confirmed at this time.
